Freddie Matthews writes from London: Following on from her almost three million selling last album Lana Del Rey returns with not quite another album, just in time for Christmas.
It’s as if Del Rey no longer has to prove herself to anyone, especially herself. After the success of the debut album the pressure is off. Paradise is Lana Del Rey as she wants to and should be known from here on in. It’s still damn depressing however.
